We know that any new system can be difficult to navigate, and to assist with this year’s  transition we want to offer some tips for convention submission via our new system, Attendee Interactive (accessed here).

Logging In:  The system imported all WSCA members as of June with their names, emails, and interest groups. In doing so, the system created accounts for them. To access this account, members should enter their first initial and last name as their user name (ex: hhundley) then click on “click here to retrieve it” to get a temporary password. A password will be sent to the email address in the member’s WSCA profile.

Once they log in to the submission system members can change their password and add to their profile. It may be helpful to use the same password as they have for WSCA.

Submitting Panels:  In the new system the procedure for submitting a panel with multiple participants is not intuitive for every member.  To submit a panel you’ll be guided through several steps to input information.  On the third step (Panel) you'll need to click "Upload Proposal" for each panelist. You can include a few lines about what each panelist plans to speak on, or simply put "x" in the title and description fields if you don't have separate topics for each panelist. It will look like you have submitted as many proposals as you have panelists, but rest assured it will be streamlined when received by the system.

Co-Sponsorship: At this time, members are not able to designate co-sponsorship directly.  Instead, in the “Description” section of the panel proposal members should identify who the co-sponsor might be. Program planners will reach out to one another to determine co-sponsorship possibilities based on these member descriptions.
