WSCA Inaugurates Distinguished Scholar Awards
& Calls For Nominations
 

The Western States Communication Association is pleased to announce the initiation of the Distinguished Scholarship Award, and it is seeking nominations for the 2007 award. This award honors WSCA members who have made considerable and long-standing scholarly contributions to the field of communication, and whose work includes publications in WSCA's journals.  

The award will be presented at the WSCA conference in February. A panel featuring the award recipient will be programmed for the WSCA conference the following year (2008). 

The nomination packet should include at least one letter describing the nominee's scholarly contributions to the field, a current vita, and other supporting documentation as appropriate. 

Submissions via email attachments are strongly encouraged, though submissions can also be provided by hard copy (five copies of materials required). The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2006.
