Undergraduate Research Conference

 

The third annual Undergraduate Research Conference was held in Palm Springs on Saturday, February 18.  A total of 35 papers with authors from 11 different colleges and universities were programmed on the conference.

The top paper awards went to the following presentations:

 Robert L. Mack, Northern Arizona University, “I Have to Go Powder My Nose and Get Fired": Cinematic Representations of Feminine Strategies for Navigating Organizational Culture.

Brandon B. Ferderer, Arizona State University, The Phoenix Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade: Embracing Paradox and Debunking the Myths of Orthodox Culture through Planned Incongruity, Strategic Juxtaposition, and Irony.

Kerstin A. Lindgren, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Performing Millworker: A Rhetorical Analysis of Memory.
