On Saturday, February 18, 2017, Dr. Marnel Niles Goins, WSCA Second Vice President, will host the Graduate Programs Open House (GPOH). The GPOH provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to meet with representatives from universities that have graduate programs in Communication.
The GPOH will immediately follow the Graduate Workshop, which features graduate program representatives who offer suggestions and advice in selecting, applying to, and succeeding in graduate school. The GPOH gives graduate programs high visibility with future scholars in the field. Established in 2003, the GPOH continues its tradition of linking students with graduate programs in an environment that guarantees active interaction.
The fee for participation is $25 for Department members and $50 for Nonmember departments. Participants receive one six-foot table on which to set out materials. The deadline for reserving a table is February 15, though you may inquire with the Executive Director for possible late reservations. To reserve your table, go to the online store located on the homepage under the "About" tab. If you have any questions, contact the Executive Director, Heather Hundley.
