Membership Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I join WSCA?

Complete and download the Membership Application Form from the WSCA web site www.westcomm.org and send it along with your credit card information or check made out to "WSCA" to Mark Bergstrom, Executive Director (his address is on the form.) Or you can join online with your credit card using our secure server.

• What is the membership period?

Memberships are from January 1 to December 31. If you join in the fall, you will be joining for the next year, but you will receive convention registration information if you join before the mailing in early November.

• Can I put my membership on a credit card?

Yes! You can use VISA, Master Card, or Discover. Use the online form on our website, enter the appropriate information, print the form, and mail to Dr. Mark Bergstrom, WSCA Executive Director, or join online using our secure server.

• I need to change my address/I have a new email address. Whom do I notify?

Send an email to the Executive Director, Mark Bergstrom, at bergstrom@admin.comm.utah.edu.

• I'm a regional journals subscriber through WSCA, and I need to change my address. Do I need to send a change of address form to the other regional associations?

No, only to the WSCA Executive Director. S/he sends mailing labels to the other regional associations for our subscribers to their journals, so when you change your address with us, that takes care of your regional journal mailings.

• Why haven’t I gotten a membership receipt?

Your membership receipt comes in three forms: (1) keep the yellow copy of the membership form you completed and sent in; (2) make a copy of the membership form you completed online–just print out a copy before you submit it, or, if you’re mailing the form, print out two copies and keep one; and (3) your cancelled check or credit card charge statement is also a receipt.
